Just got the DVD of the Apple Records story, 'Strange Fruit', and I agree with Steve's review( www.examiner.com/article/strange-fruit-apple-records-film-says-it-those-were-the-days ) that it's an excellent documentary and the long, strange story of the rise and fall of the Beatles Apple Records experiment. I was able to get it through the Best Buy website and it is available through other outlets and I highly recommend it as it's a documentary that should be seen by every Beatles fan to understand what happened with Apple. The Fab 4 Free 4 All also cover the documentary in their current podcasts and it's also worth a listen. www.fab4free4all.com/audioshows.html

Great film - a must buy! As I was struggling to justify buying the Magical Mystery Tour DVD box set, so I thought I'd get the single MMT DVD, the Mojo Special edition magazine and the Strange Fruit DVD instead.
How glad I am that I did - 3 hours of interesting interviews and analysis into the Beatles empire. I understand that the film has been pulled from Amazon / eBay etc - this may have something to do with the fact that there is some official Beatles music and footage in it - licensing issues?
Either way - buy it before Apple stops you!
