Here's a cool You Tube interview I've just found. Anyone know any details about this? According to Badman, the interview is by Los Angeles KHJ from the Hippopotamus Club in NYC (Dec. 74)where John attended George's tour ending party, just 2 days after backing out of an on-stage appearance (where Paul was actually in the audience). Both Beatles sound a bit inebriated, so my guess is that the picture is from the same gathering.

Thank you.
I'll have to get this Badman book that everyone keeps referencing.

Thank you. I'll have to get this Badman book that everyone keeps referencing. Mine is a loaner. Great stuff though. I also think it is out of print.

One has to wonder IF John joined George on stage AND Paul was in cognito in the crowd- would Paul's ego have allowed him to remain seated? Especially in a no rehearsal situation.
We'll never know.

Yes, but we can dream....how cool would that have been! Also, don't forget Billy Preston was touring with George - I imagine them doing Get Back ( with George trading lead vocals w/ John!) and/or Don't Let Me Down. OK, enough dreaming.... But yes, I agree, very interesting interview! Thanks for posting that, andyb!

Great interview, I think even up to 1974 when they were releasing regular albums it still would have been an exciting time to be a Beatles fan.
