3 -- Good, but I don't know what else to say about it. Kind of fun and tongue in cheek too.

Here are the lyrics....
I ate it and at once my eyes could see you No sooner had I ooped it down I felt so far off from the ground I stood on.
My legs they seemed to me like high-rise buildings My head was high up in the sky My skin the sun began to fry like bacon.
And then somebody old appeared and asked had I come far . . . And hadnt they just seen me up on haleakala . . . I kept on body surfing to pretend I hadnt heard There was someone there beside me, swimming like richard iii And Im still smiling
Seven naked native girls swam seven sacred pools . . . Lone-ranger smoking doobies said youre breaking all the rules . . . Youd better get your clothes on or else therell be a row . . . If it wasnt for my sunstroke I would take you on right now . . . And Im still smiling.
I fell in love with my soft-hearted hana She entered right in through my heart And now although were miles apart I still feel her.
She lives beneath the crater in the meadow She moves among the fruit and grain You can meet her after heavy rain has fallen.

Interesting lyrics. Are they about drugs, an affair, or just nonsense? Haleakala is the name of the mountain/volcano which dominates the island of Maui, Hawaii. George had a home on Maui, though I don't know if he had it in 1979.

I'll give it a 2
It's not a bad song, it just isn't a great song...

This would be the definitive 2.5 song for me. Unique enough to be above average, but not enough for me to really up it to the good level. Since I have to choose I put it as a 2 on the poll. I really like the GEORGE HARRISON album, but don't consider this one of the standout songs so I guess that puts it at closer to average!

2. This is really a stream of consciousness lyric with some embellishment after the fact. Complete nonsense with perhaps something in mind that set it off like an LSD trip. Some nice chord changes but nothing that stands out.

3.5 from me(votes a 4 in the poll). Magic "shrooms" helped inspire this ditty. Beautifully surreal. Only George Harrison could get away with a song like this in 1979!

2. It's enjoyable. Better than simple filler, but of no great significance.

I forgotten I liked this one, not a whole lot, but I like it. It has the sloppy sound on it that his last few albums suffered from. But on this one, you can say it was on purpose. He is intoxicated on it, so the music can be a little drunk sounding.
I'll give this a 2.5, a 3.0 for the poll.

Like this "drunk" song better than anything Ringo did in the late 70's . I'll give this a 3 on the strenght of these lyrics "You'd better get your clothes on or else there'll be a row . . . If it wasn't for my sunstroke I would take you on right now . . . And I'm still smiling."
