Okay, who do you want to win?
I really don't care this year, but I'm a National League guy, so the Phillies, I guess. But, I wouldn't be disappointed if the Rays won.

Phillies, I guess, because I am also a National League guy. It will be annoying hearing all the crossover Pirates fans rooting for their cross-state Phillies. [JSD ducks from the sharp object JCV throws at him!] ;D

I decided to pull for the Rays and Cubs when the post-season started, so I'm sticking with the Rays.

I usually go for the National League, but I hope the Rays kill the Phillies.

Well, I'm from Philadelphia, but now I live in the Tampa vicinity, so I'm somewhat torn. However, it would be cool for the Phils to win, as they haven't won since 1980, whereas the Rays are an expansion team. Also, most of my family live near Philly, and they're rabid Phils fans, so that's an extra incentive in my book, FWIW. I haven't chimed in previously, as I was hoping this would be the Cubbies' year, but alas........Besides, the Phils have choked too many times in the past for me to get my hopes up.....yet!

My parents unfortunately defected to that side of the state a few years ago, so I'm forced to take that long ride over the mountains to see them a few times every year. It's so bad over there sports-wise that they don't even show the score of ANY sport that the 'burgh is playing, unless we're playing a Philthydelphia team. Drives my Dad crazy! JCV

Man, the announcers had the right call on that fat starting pitcher for the Phillies. Before the first batter, one of the announcers said that the chump had an E.R.A. of 8.something in the first inning. Then fatso proved them right by walking the leadoff hitter. Unintentional walks will kill you every time as then the Phillies' hippie rightfielder boots an easy single. That is a lack of mental toughness on their parts. Man, I have nothing in this fight but I'm starting to talk like a Phillies fan!

Oh, goodness, Winston. The few minutes of the game that I saw it looked like my Pirates were playing! Congratulations to the dang Sillies. There's hope for my Bucs yet! ;D JCV

Wow! This series sure came and went. Did all the games start in the 6th inning or something?

Wow! This series sure came and went. Did all the games start in the 6th inning or something? No, just the 5th one. (The 5th game was delayed due to rain, so it was completed on Wednesday night).
