3 -- I like this song for Paul, since it suits his outlook on life for the most part, I would think. I also like the way (if you listen closely) that Paul seems to add an "r" to the names sung here ("Jonaher" and "Noaher"). It's one of the more appealing songs on KOTB.

2 Competent, but nothing special. Not really my type of music, but Paul's charm makes it tolerable.

3.5. I really like this one. I wish Paul would have taken this approach to more of the songs on KOTB. Besides being a standout song, he sings it perfectly with just the right amount of attitude. Noer and Joner pronunciation add to the charm of the delivery just as "I never sore them winging" from Till There Was You. The accompanyment is also first rate.
It's better than good but not on the level of Let It Be.

I'll give it a 4. What's not to like? A classic song, excellent arrangement and piano by Diana Krall and good singing by Paul in his normal voice. No problems regarding the effects of age here. Hearing this makes me optimistic that McCartney can still deliver vocally on any forthcoming studio albums of original material.

2.5 I share in CoachBK's sentiments. Paul's singing here may be about the best on this album.
Sorry I was late voting Joe but this was one of the few that I had to play the video you provided(I think I had to for the very first one if it was a Ringo song off one of his newer albums).
I don't like this type of song but this one is actually a little more appealing to me.

2.5. Its harmless but I've heard a thousand better versions of this kind of music and the only thing that makes this semi-interesting is because Paul is doing it. Personally, I'd rather be hanging out at Slaggers.

It's a tough one to evaluate when the recording sounds this good. The band is great, the vocals are good. I just don't like it.
Yet, I don't think it is fair to just go straight to the Poor- I don't like it, rating.
I'll give it a 2.0 but I probably should just abstain.

Here are the lyrics...
"Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate The Positive"
Gather 'round me, everybody Gather 'round me, while I preach some Feel a sermon coming on here The topic will be sin And that's what I'm agin' If you wanna hear my story Then settle back and just sit tight While I start reviewing The attitude of doing right
You got to ac-cent-tchu-ate the positive E-lim-i-nate the negative And latch on to the affirmative Don't mess with mister inbetween
You got to spread joy up to the maximum Bring gloom down to the minimum And have faith, or pandemonium Liable to walk upon the scene
To illustrate my last remark Jonah in the whale, Noah in the ark, What did they do, just when everything looked so dark? Man, they said, we better
Ac-cent-tchu-ate the positive E-lim-i-nate the negative And latch on to the affirmative Don't mess with mister inbetween
