Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees passed away today. Another great talent gone. RIP Robin.

Sad! Just heard the song "Edge of the Universe" on Sirius/XM. Man, it feels like a lot of the musicians I grew up with are passing in droves.

Hard to believe there is now only one Gibb remaining of the 4 Gibb Brothers and Barry is meant to be troubled by Arthritis..They were extremely successful, especially in the disco era....

It is weird to think that three Gibb brothers are gone. Like Brian Wilson, Barry Gibb is alone now as to siblings he performed with(I don't know if he had any other siblings).
Sad. But we are getting to the point where artists famous in the 1960's and 1970's are at the ages where they will start passing away more rapidly.
They are not at the point like WWII veterans(or even Korean War veterans) but we can only expect more and more of this and lesser time in between major deaths of entertainment celebrities from that era.
That's why we need loose-ends tied up in The Beatles' collection now!!
But RIP Robin Gibb.

While definitely not a great movie, the 1978 'Sgt Pepper' movie did have some nice performances, including this one by Robin Gibb.
