Funny. Ron certainly looks better with hair than without. Also interesting how nerdy Henry Winkler actually transforms back into cool by just wearing jeans and a leather jacket. Clothes do make the man.

Very cool. I love nostalgia. However - I find it hilarious that Ron doesn't realize this: although he utilizes those "good ol' days" clips from HAPPY DAYS and THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW because they're something wholesome and special, the truth is that - if his candidate gets elected - the irony is that things today would become even more and more UNLIKE those glory days of the '50s!

Joe: The characters were used solely to grab people's attention. And, from that standpoint, it worked.

I understand, Steve. I'm just pointing out the irony, is all.

Okay, we have Otis the drunk, the in-bred Darling family, and don't get me going on Floyd the Barber. And, wasn't Mr. C always getting "frisky"? Ah, yes, the clean innocent days of old. ;D

. . . if his candidate gets elected - the irony is that things today would become even more and more UNLIKE those glory days of the '50s! Yeah! Why don't those darkies just stop being so uppity and learn how to know their place? And, that goes for those women, too. And, those gay people. The closet is too nice for them. You know, we wouldn't have to spend so much on education if our schools were separate, but equal. Pregnant teenagers? I thought that was what convents were for? 'Scuse me while I go clean my gun. I'm going to shoot me some cans ---- MexiCANS, Puerto RiCANs . . .

Remember that just because people like you always have race and sexual orientation and these things on the mind first and foremost as a kneejerk basis for everything doesn't mean everyone else does, too. Yes, The Andy Griffith Show was a very naughty series. I'm glad we've learned by having even more "in your face" shows like WORLD'S MOST SHOCKING VIDEOS, TEMPTATION ISLAND, COPS, WHEN ANIMALS ATTACK!, etc.. Hey, did you hear the new legitimate radio commercial which offers a chance for a man to cheat on his spouse and have an affair, without her finding out - offering a money back guarantee? Ah, progress! Incidentally - are you sure it's okay to use the term "in-bred" at the moment? I'll have to check this month's Political Correctness Guide and see. But I think you're safe at the moment...

[ Sayne . . . I don't know where you get this crazy stuff from. Hey, I'm from California! ____ Why did the California Valley Girl resolve to have only 3 children? -- She heard that one out of every four children born in the world is Chinese.
