Hi! I'm Glenn Moses. I'm a recording artist/producer/engineer from New York. I live with friend a friend out in the woods in Manorville right now, about 65 miles east of New York City, on Long Island. I make music when I can. I have an old Macbook that I work on. Digital Performer is my software of choice.
I've been on the internet for a very, very long time. Some of you may know me as glenesis.
I've been a Beatles freak for as long as I can remember. I was lucky enough to have seen first-run Beatles cartoons, and one of my earliest memories is of the Muppets performing Yellow Submarine on Sesame Street.
I was the sound man for a fantastically talented local tribute band called Wonderous Stories. I mixed their live show in bars for over six years, and enjoyed every second of it. They play a huge variety of sixties, seventies and eighties Classic Rock, including some very complicated pieces by Yes, Genesis, ELP, and, of course, LOTS of music by The Beatles. Toward the end of my run with them, they were playing Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in its entirety, before that sort of thing became fashionable.
In any case, I've had some kind of moderate success of my own lately. A version of John Lennon's song "Real Love" that I recorded recently made Steve's Beatle's column on examiner.com, due to a video that my friend Drew produced and directed for the song. That led me to this forum and Steve's blog, which is full of so much new Beatles info for me that I've had a very difficult time getting anything else done
I'm really glad to have found this wonderful community. I'm looking forward to many happy posts.
Have a beautiful day!
