BBC Radio 6 has two documentaries up on their archives on the making of the Rolling Stones albums 'Exile on Main Street' and 'Begger's Banquet'. (Both specials on are in two parts). The specials will be up on the BBC Radio 6 archives for just a few more days so catch them while you can. Tried to play the first part of the Exile special and it wouldn't play. Anyone get it to play? The second part was ok.

Go on the BBC Radio 6 website and look up the program and click on the player again, Steve. For downloading the shows from the BBC I recommend the program Radio Downloader, I use it and it works great. www.nerdoftheherd.com/tools/radiodld/ |

Fred: Nice program! Thanks. It saves time rather than doing an audio capture, which is what I've been doing. But the first Exile link still didn't download. I think the site link is bad.

I set up Fab4Free4All via RSS feed, BBC's "Sounds of the '60s" with Brian Matthews and Classic Concerts. Wonderful. Thanks again, Fred. I suggest anyone who enjoys these BBC shows check out the software. It'll save you a lot of time since they download automatically if you subscribe to the recurring shows.
