It has begun, people! The 2012/2013 NFL Season has begun. Darn, the Chicago Bears whipped my Indianapolis Colts although new Colts QB Andrew Luck showed many positives but had three interceptions and one fumble. Luck's first NFL game numbers eerily similar to Peyton Manning's first NFL game numbers back in 1998! Spooky! Speaking of Peyton, in his first NFL game since 2010/2011, he played great and help lead the Denver Bronchos over JCV's beloved Steelers! There is second-guessing in Indy today for sure! Indy is like Liverpool right after Pete Best got fired: some still support Manning to the end, some support the new kid Luck. Manning is no Pete Best though, he is a champion. Hopefully Luck will be a Ringo!

Chargers!
We owned Manning when he was a Colt, so no fears with playing him twice as a Bronco.

Hey, The Colts won yesterday, beating Minnesota with a 52 yard fieldgoal with about 8 seconds left! Andrew Luck looked great the First Half(two TD passes), looked like a Rookie the Second Half until he engineered that final drive setting up the fieldgoal. He only had 31 seconds to work with after the kickoff! There is joy in Indiana again(that with a surprisingly strong showing by Notre Dame against Michigan State on the road even).

LOL, last week Colts QB Andrew Luck was the goat as the Colts got smashed by the Bears and Peyton Manning had a great game for Denver beating JCV's Steelers. The wolves were howling in Indy. This week though Luck is the up-and-coming hero after Minnesota and Peyton is looking old in his rough performance against Atlanta last night. ;D Oh yeah, Bears QB Jay Cutler was the hero last week against the Colts but is the goat this week after a dismal performance against Green Bay including seven, yes seven, interceptions.

Crap! The Colts took the lead with a fieldgoal with only a minute left and Jacksonville scored an 80 yard touchdown on the first play to win. Oh, #@&$!

Jacksonville stinks and this was one of the few "Should win" games for the Colts this year.

Thank our lucky stars that the "Replacement Refs" are gone as the NFL was forced by public outcry and its players to reach a deal with the "real" Refs.
Even the regular Refs are human and make mistakes but the Replacement Refs were a huge joke and disaster. QB's were going to start dropping like flies to season-ending injuries had the NFL not resolved that dispute.

Wow, life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans. The Indianapolis Colts' new Head Coach Chuck Pagano, who will be 52 on Tuesday, has leukemia!
That was announced yesterday and we in Indiana are stunned. He has good chances to survive and beat this which is the really important news but he is probably done for the year.
Puts things in context.

Holy cow! The Indianapolis Colts shocked the Green Bay Packers in an emotional win, emotional because it was announced last week that Indy Head Coach Chuck Pagano has leukemia. What a comeback! Way to go COLTS!Come on Chargers, beat those cheating, dirty Saints!

Okay, everyone. Roll call! Who do you want to win today, 49ers or Ravens? I'm going for the Niners, and not because of California loyalty.
It's funny, I never liked the 49ers during the Joe Montana/Steve Young years. I've never gone gaga over Jerry Rice. I liked the team during the John Brodie years. Can't say I'm a fan or following them, but I don't have a problem with them anymore.
As for the Ravens, I would normally go for them since I'm an AFC fan, stemming from my old AFL days. However, they used to be the Cleveland Browns and I did not like how they left. Also, Ray Lewis makes things seem unseemly over there in Ravensland.
Should be a really good game, though. Since I have no skin in the game, for my Chargers are not in it, and I don't really follow either team, this is a game I can just sit back and enjoy for the sake of the game and nothing else . . . oh, and the commercials.

I am with you Sayne! I don't have a dog in this fight but I favor the 49'ers. I have a huge problem with Ray Lewis. First, he and his two buddies almost certainly have the blood of two dead men on their hands but money doesn't talk it swears and all three men walked, two men stabbed to death in a club and not one person convicted of murder and Ray Lewis all but recanted on the stand and did not implicate his buddies as he was supposed to for his deal yet he walked scott-free or close. Second, his overwrought reactions after the last several games leaves me cold. His invoking "God this, God that" sounds as phony to me as if it was Jerry Falwell or whoever. Blah! The Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh Story is feel-good although one will be a loser tonight. Guess who is their brother-in-law? Yes, I.U. Mens' Basketball Head Coach Tom Crean married little Joani Harbaugh who looks like her two brothers but is a cutie. Crean is part of the feel-good story as his(and my) Hoosiers played in a huge ESPN Game Day match-up last night as #3 Indiana beat #1 Michigan and remember, Jim Harbaugh played at Michigan! That I.U. game last night was one of the biggest games this college Hoop's season and how ironic it came on the eve of the Super Bowl!? The Harbaugh Brothers and brother-in-law Tom Crean, what a season thus far for the three!

Murderer Ray Lewis says God willed the Ravens to win! What a thug phony. Go pay child support on your illegitimate children you killing fraud. QB Flacco was the hero and stole the thunder from the Ray Lewis lovefest.
