*If you tried to give Rock and Roll another name, you might call it *Chuck Berry*....John Lennon.......
*Happy Birthday* to (my guitar hero) Chuck, who turns 86 today...
The Father (or Inventor) of Rock & Roll......

I didn't even know it was Chuck's birthday. But I just bought an original 45rpm record of CAROL, so I'll play it today in his honor!

I did a little mini Chuckfest tonight.
You have The Great 28 but then you have Promise Land, You Never Can Tell, Jaguar and Thunderbird, Too Pooped To Pop, It Wasn't Me ...Down the Road a Piece, My Ding-A-Ling, .... Chuck was the King. Elvis stood in for the pictures.

Chuck was the King. Elvis stood in for the pictures. I like that quote! (even being an Elvis fan). Never heard it before -- did you just make it up or is it an old one? All I know is, I may use it for the rest of my life!
