I'm not sure whether John was actually a cricket fan as such: the cricket images are directly from the film itself.
Credit to the English team for keeping the match down to 4 days. Only we Brits could invent the most boring game in the world and then make it last for 5 days.

The Aussies are copping an English style pummelling in the press at the moment. Basically, these are 20/20 players who are not up to Test cricket and trying to weather the periods where they struggle against Jimmy Anderson and co, they can't handle being tied down for 20 minutes or so and go for the big shot and get out. Good to see a renaissance in British sport overall as well.
Stuart Broad will be public enemy #1 when they come here in the summer for the return leg of the Ashes.

Yes, I'm sure John was a Cricket fan. I've probably got at least an hour of him doing Cricket songs. John, my faithful batman!
(Otherwise, I have no idea what you guys are talking about.)

Hey deborjo, Lords is a ground in England and is considered the home of cricket, the Aussies just got thrashed at that ground by England and hence the thread I know that John liked cricket and sport in general, George was into cars but not sure how much he was into other sports, not sure about Paul and Ringo though.
