Reading all of the Fireman reviews and also knowing about Paul dabbling in classical music and not one but two whole albums of oldies covers-one last horizon I personally would like to see is Paul taking on his songwriting partner John.
Not in a "sacrilegious" note for note duplication way- but using his great musicianship to interpret some Lennon classics (finish them no partial medleys) and finish the ones that never were.
Part One The John Ono Lennon Years Love Imagine How Do You Sleep (kidding) Whatever Gets You Through the Night (w/Elton) Mind Games Nobody Loves You When You're Down and Out Watching the Wheels
Part Two-Unfinished Business
Grow Old With Me Now and Then Gone From This Place India Mucho Mungo Mirror Mirror
Let the tomato throwing begin...

I like this idea, especially trying to finish off a tune or two or six. Thanks for mentioning Gone from this Place, that's one of my favorite demos. I also like A Friend of Dorothy's. I've got to say, though, that as much as I like this idea, I'd rather hear Paul interpret some more of George's work on a studio disc some day. ATMP from the Concert for George has become one of favorite Beatle tracks, and it's been beaten to death, but Something is nice. What about: Blow Away (always swore that was Paul on backing vocals anyway) Deep Blue Pisces Fish What is Life (this has apparently been a soundcheck song?) Run of the Mill Faster Your Love is Forever It's What You Value Women Don't You Cry for Me End of the Line

I agree with him doing George as well. George's If You Believe is a good one.
She was a Friend of Dorothy's involves a lot of interpretation. I would have liked to see where John would have taken it.
