So, I have yet to ever see a list of all of Ringo's drum-work -- a "Ringo Drumming Discography", if you will.
Besides the Beatle albums and the odd thing (Steven Still's first album, Dylan's "Heart of Mine", various George tracks), I don't know what tracks/albums Ringo has played on. I don't even know if Ringo plays drums on all his own albums...
Is there such a list, in existence, or can someone provide it?

For example, I read the other day how Ringo drums on one of Harry Nilsson's albums. Didn't know this.
Anyone??

Ringo played on several McCartney albums. Tug of War, Pipes of Peace, Broadstreet and Flaming Pie immediately come to mind, but there may have been more.
By the way, Ringo doesn't pass spellcheck on this site. That doesn't hardly seem right.

Played on BB King in London in 1970 or '71.
But, you're right. A discography would be great.

And Ringo appears on some Tom Petty solo album tracks, some pretty obscure. Great question Panther. We shall look.

I found cool stuff on Ringo but not what we are looking for.

Also, on a lot of the Paul and George albums Ringo appears on, he either doesn't play on all the tracks or he co-drums with Keltner or someone else. In fact, the entire 'All Things Must Pass' album is mysterious in terms of who plays on what tracks -- nobody seems to know. The best source to check is Simon Leng's book 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps'. From that book, I think we can see exactly which George tracks Ringo played on.
Did Ringo exclusively plays drums on all his own albums??

Did Ringo exclusively plays drums on all his own albums?? He played on most of his own I believe, except maybe the first two "cover" albums and possibly the unreleased Chip Moman fiasco. Many tracks were co-drums. I've seen Ringo drum live backing the likes of Jack Bruce and others. He pretty much held his own. Can someone please explain why there were so many "co-drum tracks"?? Not just Keltner, but Steve Gadd and others.

Ringo played on many of the songs on Leon Russell's Delta Lady album, including Delta Lady.

It's amazing to me that there isn't a reliable "Ringo Drum Discography" anywhere. I guess we have to wait for a Simon Leng-ish biographer to do a detailed analysis of Richie's studio work.

Not familiar with that book, Steve. Is there a discography of all his studio work in it?

I struck out looking for one. LOL, I hope someone has memorialized this info as Ringo himself could not be expected to. I bet there are some cool cameos he's done that we don't realize.
