That, and Come On In My Kitchen are very nice bonuses. Too bad they didn't do If Not For You in the concert.

That was an amazing performance even though a rehearsal. If there is ever that fabled George Harrison Anthology, I want this performance on there!
BTW, I love Threads entitled WTF because I live my life walking around barking WTF! Great phrase.

Man, even Dylan did a "rhythm lead" while George continued to just strum the main chords.

I was thinking this was a Somewhere in England photo shoot so I googled Somewhere in England. I like to make alternate covers for my albums and paste them on the mp3 file. I always thought the photo of George was a little small. So I did a little photo shop and made the picture of George larger. You can see that the wall is a little irregular. I just found this in the google search. Did someone steal my idea? A much better job. If it were already out there, I wish I'd known. It would have saved me a lot of trouble. Oh well. The images aren't where I put them but you get the idea.

That was an amazing performance even though a rehearsal. If there is ever that fabled George Harrison Anthology, I want this performance on there! . . . Amazing? Really? What makes it amazing to, oh ye who has slagged on George's playing, you? All they are doing is strumming up and down, up and down. At least one of them should have been flat picking or something. It's no wonder they decided to not do it. It didn't go anywhere. It laid flat and they knew it. I do grant that as a rarities it is important. Is that what you mean by "amazing"?

It is much better than the ATMP version in my opinion and it is not really a song that calls for a guitar solo. Hey, whatever criticism I had of George was like four fucking years ago when I had my head up the Stones' ass and before I read Simon Leng's book.

Just more than a beginning guitarist could do. What made you fall off the Stones wagon?

[ What made you fall off the Stones wagon? I have not quit on the Stones but I have learned to like The Beatles and The Stones at the same time. It seemed like if I was hot on one I was cold on the other. I can now also listen to Stones and not want to commit a crime or sack a village. In 2010, I was getting these dark thoughts listening to The Stones but it was their 1968 to 1972 period I was focused on.

Mind you, there are some villages that deserve to be sacked. I'd sack Godshill on the Isle of Wight if it were me. Door to door tourist tat shops, full of holidaymakers in the summer and no pavements, and a single narrow twolane road which is a main artery and which bottlenecks all the bloody time. Sack the place, and all those problems would be solved. Resolved: drive through slowly during the summer with the Stones 68-72 pumping out of the car stereo, open windows. That'll do it.

So, he's not standing next to a wall at all That makes sense. Had I known that, I may have tried to keep the yellow line in. It reminds me of an old saying, "If I see you lying in the gutter one day, I'll buy you a drink". Attachments:
