Thanks OldFred! I feel faint, I so hope ABBA will reunite. On a selfish level I hope they don't because a reunited ABBA would smash all Beatles' sales records but what will be will be.
It is funny Fred posted this today because just Friday night, I must have played "Dancing Queen" 50 times in a row as I danced to it wildly in my living room all alone, twirling and, "having the time of my life!"

This calls for the stirring showing of "Waterloo" from 1974 Eurovision! This is one of the great moments in Rock and Roll.

I LOVED that performance of "Waterloo"! Thanks for posting it! A great song that I always liked. My late sister had the 45 and it always reminds me of her. One of my last memories of her was several years ago as my ex-wife and I were in our car following her and her husband in their van en route to the beach; she was singing along to it on the Serius Satellite 70s channel, which both our vehicles were listening to simultaneously.

Nice remembrance Joe! I have happy memories of hearing it on WLS out of Chicago when I was just a kid. Very stirring even though I had no idea what it was about and the reference to that famous battle. We just don't get good Pop songs anymore on the War of the Seventh Coalition!

Since Fred has posted that ABBA reunion article, I have been on my knees praying fervently for such a reunion!
Watch this video of that Nordic Goddess, Agnetha Fältskog, so sad, so vulnerable, so needing to be held by me, in the majestic, heartbreaking "The Winner Takes It All:"
I love The Beatles dearly but sorry, neither John nor Paul can invoke deep stirrings within me like Agnetha can. Only Tony Hicks, lead guitarist of The Hollies, can but Steve won't let us talk Tony here(see Section Heading).
Man, I defy anyone to watch this video and not be moved to tears and then to a really cold shower!
