WPLJ-FM New York from January 23rd 1972 describing a meeting and a remarkable trade John Lennon made with a fan on December 7, 1971 in NY. This is about a very early bootleg Beatle album. Interesting story, not all correct; the assumed information spoken in the interview, but still worth hearing for John's reaction to the bootleg. For Christmas 1971, John and Yoko sent a tape of the album to Paul and Linda; The text of John and Yoko's message on the box of the recording read: "Happy Xmas! (war is over if you want it.....) Dear Paul Linda et al. this is THE DECCA AUDITION!! I found the bootleg not the tape: They were a good group fancy turning THIS down! Love John+Yoko".

Cool, lowbasso! Do you happen to know who that is with Paul on the left @ 5:36? I wondered that too. Looks like it might just be a fan getting an autograph?
