I'm sure many of you have heard about the lawsuit and have heard the two songs. Coldplay has responded by saying that "yes" there are similarities, but it's a coincidence. They did not purposely steal Satriani's song
I wonder if George's "My Sweet Lord" case will be used as a precedent to defend Coldplay. In George's case, the judge noted the similarities, but did not say that George lifted it on purpose.
