"...But I recall this guy describing JPG&R as "the whitest white men I had ever seen." Geez!! England in the late 50's/early 60's ... What the hell did he expected to see...? California's beach boys...

John, did you just call Linda homely? Not very PC. But there certainly isn't anything wrong with your eyesight. I wish I could remember the name of the photographer who was sent up from London to Liverpool to take some early publicity shots of the Beatles, shortly before they became famous. There's nothing especially good or bad about the photos, they aren't much different than others taken around the same time. But I recall this guy describing JPG&R as "the whitest white men I had ever seen." At least he didn't think they were homely. Well, Linda was one of those people who her admirers said, "She is very beautiful in person but just doesn't get captured right on film." Whatever! Paul is at his sizzling hottest and baddest in this photo and Linda's mug isn't there to ruin it for the ladies who are drooling over a tan Paul and likewise us gentlemen can admire our Man Paul looking like the chick magnet rock star he should have been and appearing to be snuggling up to a hot 1970's dirty blonde babe at a time when all STD's were cured by a shot of penicillin. If Linda turns around, all that bad-ass by Paul is wasted! It was brilliant of the photographer to tell Linda to turn her frumpy-self around! By the way, is Paul wearing a leather jacket! I bet that this poster doesn't hang at Stella's house.
