Anyone pick up this book yet. It is a large volume (over 700 pages). Got some decent reviews on Amazon. But, it talks about referencing The Complete Beatles Recording Sessions a lot, so I'm trying to determine if this book is well done and worth buying (especially if one already has the Lewisohn book). Thanks!

Thanks! I haven't seen it but I'd stick with the Lewisohn book. He is the one who EMI allowed to listen to every piece of tape the Beatles ever recorded in the studio in their career as a band.

Yeah, I might chuck my collection of Beatles books now that I have the super duper Lewisohn book. I think he was referring to the previous Lewisohn book "The Beatles Complete Recording Sessions" that is being referenced a lot in this new book. Not the latest Lewisohn book "Tune In." Other than G. Martin, his son Giles, and maybe G. Emerick, who else has had access to hear everything The Beatles ever recorded other than Lewisohn?

To misquote Johnny Carson's comment to Dolly Parton, "I give about a years salary for a peek".
