Not too impressive, relatively. Drake's highest chart position is number 16, so it's not exactly the top-5 positions and 'Drake-mania', like in 1964.
Also, The Beatles didn't have the benefit of every LP track being downloaded and counted as a 'single'. If they had, instead of 14 hits in 1964, they'd have had at least 40.

WTF is Drake Ditto. Without the smiley, and with a question mark.

A little defensive are we Beatles fans?

I think Drake did better when he stuck to writing equations.

I don't think we're being defensive. If someone had 'achieved' this feat in 1978 or 1989, it would have been equal to The Beatles in '64. Achieving it now is simply different and doesn't really invite comparison. Especially when he hasn't got a single song in the top 15.

A little defensive are we Beatles fans? I have no idea who Drake is, the smiley was there to soften my ignorance. I have no interest in modern music.

Yea, some Rap star has eclipsed The Beatles..... It's all over for John, Paul, George, & Ringo. Their music will never stand up against this "quality" rap star. Yawn.........

I still don't really know who or what Drake is. But I do know that the Beatles had 52 album tracks released in the States in 74, plus (I suspect) some tracks on 45s which hadn't made to album within the year. The playing field isn't exactly level, is it?
