Some like odd cuts on that comparison. Right in the middle of the bar instead of after the verse. I think they did this to emphasize their point but it seams like a cheat. I'd have to give this one to Gaye's side though. I think it's close. You can probably link all songs together lining them up next to each other.

Now personally I think both songs are uninteresting pieces of music. But everyone is entitled to their taste in music. But way back in the 1980s Belinda Carlisle did a song close in structure to a certain Bon Jovi classic. No one to my knowledge sued anyone? And yet Mix them together and what have you got?
