Does anyone remember the British band Slade from the 1970's. There were my favourite band back then. Slade and The Beatles are like chalk and cheese but they were both great British bands. If you know of Slade and would like to see a movie made about them then visit this link and "like" it. www.facebook.com/sladefilm?hc_location=ufi

Didn't they do the original version of Run Run Away? I cheated and wiki'ed them. Apparently they were the only ones who had a hit with Run Runaway. I think I was thinking of Cum On Feel the Noise and Quiet Riot's cover of it. I guess the only other thing I remember was Mama Weer All Crazy Now. I think a friend of mine had a 8 track of one of their albums.

You know, upon rehearing Run Runaway, I never realized that Big Country's In a Big Country was so influenced by it, to my ears.
