MACCA MAJORLY DISSED AND DENIED ENTRY TO RAPPER TYGA'S GRAMMTY PARTY!Steve is reporting this too but Sir Paul McCartney angrily demanding to know, ""How V.I.P. do we gotta get?" as he and Beck and others(I see Nancy nowhere around) denied twice to the hottest post-Grammy Party, that hosted by Tyga, the Rapper! Burn! Tyga probably saw that Macca didn't score number 1's with Rhianna or Kanye! Watch the video as Macca is humiliated although unconvincingly tries to joke about it. www.tmz.com/videos/0_h4hsnumg/ www.msn.com/en-us/music/grammy/tyga...BBpzDc2#image=1www.spin.com/2016/02/paul-mccartney...ed-video-watch/The TMZ guy asks Paul what his favorite Rolling Stone song is and Paul is pissed, if looks could kill! The man who said "No!" twice to Paul McCartney!"

Last time he got kicked out of someplace was probably Germany in 1960 when he and Pete Best got deported for setting fire to the Bambi Kino wall with the rubber!! That should make every news show tonite!!

How many early Motown hits did The Beatles cover in their club years, on their early UK tours, and on their early albums, that could not get any airplay on American AM radio station of the times!

1. Why was this the "hottest" after party? I have never heard of this guy! (Have y'all?) 2. Why is Paul hanging around (or just trying to hang around, apparently) "hot" parties with tacky tattooed guys who throw gang signals? 3. Why does Paul seem desperate for attention and approval? 4. Why is it my business, really? 5. I guess it's not my business, but I hate to see him dissed like this. Stop trying to be trendy, Paul!

Not only did he get dissed at this party, he and Kayne won no grammies last night. Paul is invited to my parties anytime.

If Paul had been thinking fast, he should have answered "I Wanna Be Your Man!" when asked what his favorite Rolling Stones song was (he could have smiled or winked devilishly too while saying it).
In a way I thought it was funny to see Paul shut out like this... I doubt he is used to such treatment. But at the same time it is sort of sad to see what happens as one ages. But Paul should really take solace in the fact that nobody -- and I mean NOBODY -- should ever feel "bad" about being turned down from attending a party with a bunch of no-talent cRappers like whoever that guy is. Nobody should have any desire to... not even Paul, who is so desperate to appear "trendy". It's pathetic.

I think Paul was just looking for a party. He gets out a lot these days.
Tyga claims he is innocent in this. He just played the event. He had no idea who was at the door or who didn't get in. He said Paul McCartney is a legend. He would had let him in.
Now Beck..., wasn't he the guy Kanye almost Taylor Swifted? Beyoncé deserved that award. "Haven't you seen her a$$?"

This is a major story. This could be the exact moment when Sir James Paul McCartney starts becoming a "nobody!"
Not to me mind you but among "the beautiful people!" As cosmo asked, why in God's name does Macca feel the need to be seen at all the trendy parties!
I further shuddered at Paul's ""How V.I.P. do we gotta get?" Nice to see Paul's huge ego is not subdued.

To me it ties in to that self=promotion thing Paul did last week where he issued a self-promoting video for making incidental or background music for Twitter or whatever it was. Here Paul and Beck wanted to get into what they perceived a happening party and were denied. I have read that this Tyga fellow denies that he knowingly refused Macca but I don't buy it. That is the easy after-the-fact answer. I think it all relates somehow to Kanye West and he dislikes Beck for winning an award over Beyonce

I actually made up an original joke (at least I've never heard this said before):
Q: What was the difference between the 2016 Grammy Award Show and the Westminster Dog Show? A: The Westminster Dog Show's dog crap was off stage.
No applause, just throw money!

This even featured on our BBC North West News tonight. Must be a slow news day. Because it got a bit jokey with a reporter showing people a picture of Paul in Liverpool City Centre. Although thankfully they were only asked who he was and not if they'd let him into a party. Eventually the report makes out that Paul had turned up at the wrong party and was meant to be at Mark Ronson's party? (edit : this is also what the upstanding Daily Mail Fail is saying as well. link)Then there was another joke about the question "How VIP do we gotta get?" and the grammatical inaccuracies that pensioners utter before we were told about the gloomy northern English weather............. For those of you in the UK you can view it from around 20 mins in here : www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b070j9xy/north-west-tonight-17022016If you can be bothered that is! I can't believe this story was even news.

I am smelling a feel good conspiracy here where both sides save face! There is no doubt that Paul himself was turned away from a door leading to a Grammy party and twice, we see Paul going to the door himself! And he made that awful snooty comment about, "How VIP do we have to get!" Now Paul's story is that they didn't want to go to the offending party anyway and that Paul wasn't really denied anyway, that that back door was not really an entrance. Meantime the Rapper dude is denying that it was his party and if he knew Paul was there he would have brought him onstage(there was no mention if the same offer went to Beck!). In the heartland here I am hearing either the Beatles fans who are mad at Tyga and barely concealing their racist feelings on Rap music in general or I am hearing from a few Beatle fans but mostly non who are delighted to see someone like McCartney told "No!" for once in his adult life!

Paul has never taken it well when he is embarrassed in public. This has to be so humiliating to him that it was caught on film as well. We were just speculating on another thread here the infamous Ouija Board Incident from 1962 that is referenced in Lewisohn's recent book when George Harrison embarrassed Paul among their friends (Ringo included) during a seance when Paul thought he had contacted his dead mother only to find out George had manipulated the whole thing, causing laughs at Paul's expense. Did that cause Paul to make George uncomfortable in the band in various ways going forward for the next 8 years? Who Knows.... But Paul's ego to this day is something others know not to toy with if you want to stay in his good graces. Let's see how Paul views his relations with Rappers going forward over this mess.

I have to disagree with JSD in that I have seen the footage a few times now, and I think Paul handled it well. Meaning, he seemed pretty cool and nonchalant about the "dis", even if he may have been secretly seething inwardly. I don't think he comes off badly in the video, I mean "appearance -wise". I have been hearing that it was just a mistake -- it was the wrong door, or the wrong party, or whatever -- so that does take the sting out of it somewhat, if that's actually true. Or was it all to save face on both sides, as John S. Damm suggests? (I know you're always looking for a juicy item, JSD ) .

Tyga apologized and said if he can work with Paul he will; "Play whatever Paul wants me to play or I won't play at all. Whatever it is I can do that will please you I'll do it." Not sure if that angle will work with Paul....... Word is Paul is consulting a Ouija Board to see what to do next....

Tyga supplemented his public remarks with: "“I’m not anti-Paul McCartney or anti-Wings or anti-MPL,” Tyga said in a separate press conference. “I’m not saying I'm better or greater, or comparing me with Paul McCartney as a person, or Macca as a thing or whatever it is. I just said what I said and was wrong, or was taken wrong, and now it’s all this.”

Anyone know who the woman was? I assume the bald-headed guy was Paul's bodyguard since he went into the limo with him later.

Doormat...er Macca wife Nancy McCartney was said to be with Paul even though she is nowhere to be seen in the video of Paul getting rejected from the hot Grammy party. Maybe he told his "old lady" to sit in the limo and be quiet!
Please, will someone post a video of Nancy McCartney speaking! No, not when she was just an East Coast Mob Princess but I want to see a video of her as Mrs. McCartney speaking! The saying "A good wife should be seen not heard" is indeed sexist pig stuff.
Give me an interview with Paul and Nancy or any interview of her after they were married! Can Nancy speak??

I think I ran at least one of those, though I did see them in the feed we get at Examiner.
