News just breaking in NYC (11:00PM EST);
Yoko Ono rushed to hospital two hours ago after suffering a possible stroke. It is reported she called herself for assistance from her apartment in The Dakota. She told them on the phone she believed she was having a stroke. No more news yet on her condition from the hospital at this time.

I saw both of these posts at the same time but for a minute, it was scary.
Some times you hear bad news about a star, an entertainer, and you get an excitement rush with it. This Yoko news really felt bad, no rush feeling.
We don't know these people but some of them do feel like family.
All the best Yoko.

Thanks, Sally. I updated it late last night with quotes from Elliot Mintz and Sean that put on social media.

Has Yoko been released today!?

This story has now fallen off the planet. The bloodthirsty media, hoping it had yet another 2016 celebrity death to report, was lighting up the internet and TV last night with news that Yoko suffered a stroke. While I am thanking the cosmos that Yoko apparently did not have a stroke, the flu can be just as dangerous to someone her age! Look how it nearly did Paul in a few years ago and he had to cancel several concerts! We never got cogent info from Paul's people on his violent illness nor are we getting it now from Yoko's representatives! The flu can kill people, especially 80-something year old! Elliot Mintz, please just give us the truth! We can handle it!

Just got the word: Yoko's home. Thanks for the report Steve. I'm glad Yoko's return home from the hospital was not a major news item. She doesn't need the paparazzi in her face when she's not feeling her best. Continued prayers for her recovery.

I have had the flu and my doctor didn't hospitalize me! We know Yoko herself phoned for help and that she was having trouble speaking. We need to keep an eye on this!

I have been flat on my back and barely able to move with a flu bug and that was when I was in my 30's. I take the shot every Fall now, and, knock on wood, have not had a really bad flu since doing so.

I had the same thing when I was about that age ... a week flat on my back with the flu, so the flu shot is an annual thing for me. (And actually, I had another bad week about 5 or so years ago.) But my 91-year-old mom won't get a flu shot. Go figure. She also likes Donald Trump. Crap.

I suspect her doctor was being extra careful since it was Yoko Ono. If it was you or me, the Doc would say come see me Monday morning during office hours. On the bright side Steve, your Mom might buy you some cool Trump gear for Christmas!
