Paul was seen briefly in a comedy sketch for tonight's BBC fund raising telethon "Sport Relief". 74 year old Michael Crawford reprised his role as Frank Spencer from the 70s UK comedy show "Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em" for a crazy set of stunts. Paul seemed to play a man on an imaginary mobile phone talking to himself and lost in the wilderness. It was almost as if he had Alzheimer's. Especially seeing as this was all to do with sport not music. The sketch is not available (as yet) to view but may become available once the fund raising is over.

Thanks SallyG. I really used to hate "Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em" when I was a kid. Even though Michael Crawford did all his own stunts (and did for the video above at 74 years of age). Just not my type of comedy. But it was all for a good cause this time. Not sure why Paul turned up in it. Perhaps he was out looking for those marbles he's started to lose

The chap who wrote Some Mothers lives near me. Met him a couple of years ago at a wedding.

I spent a good 5 minutes googling this to make sure I was correct, Sport Relief is part of Comic Relief.... But it seems there is something hinky about this. Max was born in 2011. I guess this was for an earlier show.

That was THIS Comic Relief sketch. Funny stuff. I remembered seeing it when it got to the boardroom scene.
