Good Lord josh! I saw your Thread's headline and I thought that you were going to report Jimmie Nichol dead! For a split-second I thought, "First Bowie, then Sir George Martin, next Prince and now Jimmie Nichol, where does it stop!"
Whew, carry on!

Well we did lose Andy White, the guy who replaced Ringo on Love Me Do, back in November.

Wow, did Eppy throw Jimmie a bone and get him on that television show after his temporary Beatles stint?

Jimmy may well have considered living a healthy life, then decided that was a load of crap and hung out at McDonalds, daily.

I wonder if he got substitute groupies during that stint... JcS The ones that even Mal and Neil wouldn't take! Jimmy bragged he could easily keep up with Lennon who was the most prolific Beatle when it came to "banging the birds" that were supplied to the Fabs while in Sweden, Netherlands, HongKong, and Australia. Didn't John's Aunt Mimi join him on the trip Down Under in June '64?

Jimmie Nichol banged Aunt Mimi? Wow, that's one for Lewisohn's next volume!
(forgive me, I was skimming...)
