There is a lot of merit to the assertion that 1971 was the best, or among the best, years in Rock and Roll! I think how good the solo Beatles were in 1971. Heck, the Stones released Sticky Fingers that year which is a major classic album!
But I can't say that greatness lasted beyond 1971! For some groups/artists it did but as a whole I like 1965 to 1970 more than I like 1971 to 1976!
But hell yes 1971 is a great year in Rock and Roll!

This "collection" works well as a stand-alone CD
