I wouldn't normally post a whole list but sayne has the link and I think you would still want to go to the site to sample the songs. Here's the first ten.
100. Desmond Dekker & The Aces, “Israelites” - Not a bad song but I doubt it would on my list. 99. Bobby Darin, “Beyond the Sea” - Not my style. 98. The Righteous Brothers, “Unchained Melody” - Again , not my style. I like Elvis's version but that was the '70s. 97. Nancy Sinatra, “These Boots Are Made For Walkin’” - Would probably be in my top 20. And you can't understate how popular this was when it was out. This WAS the '60s. 96. The Marvelettes, “Please Mr. Postman” - I think there are plenty better Motown songs than this 95. Loretta Lynn, “Fist City” - I don't know it. I can't imagine a song I don't know being one of the top 100 songs, especially songs of the '60s. 94. Little Stevie Wonder, “Fingertips Part 2” - This never registered with me. I love Stevie but.... 93. The Crystals, “Then He Kissed Me” - I guess this was good at a dance in the early 60's but before my time. 92. 13th Floor Elevators, “You’re Gonna Miss Me” - Another one I don't know. I listened to it. Top 100? Psychedelic? 91. Bobbie Gentry, “Ode to Billie Joe” - Another popular song. I guess it gets points for capturing anyone's attention.

90. Otis Redding and Carla Thomas, “Tramp” - I always thought of this song as more of a novelty song. Fun, but great? 89. The Four Tops, “Bernadette” - ? Where are these songs coming from? Top 100? I listened to it. I can't think of the other song but I think they have plagiarized themselves. 88. Jackie Wilson, ”(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher” - Again, not my style and not what I think of as great songs of the '60s. 87. The Hollies, “”Bus Stop” - I had this as my number 1 favorite song of all time at one time. Still top 5. It owes so much to the Beatles, the slurred vocal style and the Paul McCartney-ish going from the high to the low note in one line, taking a breath or two on the way down. 86. Beach Boys, “Good Vibrations” - Very much the '60s. I'm just so tired of it. There are some in progress/working session tracks of it on the Smiley Smile disc that are pretty cool. I think this should be higher. 85. Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You” - A great song, alas, not my style. This list is kind of a bummer for my so far. 84. Neil Diamond, “Sweet Caroline” - a great sing-a-long song. I remember liking this a lot as a kid. Neil has about 6 or 7 songs that I love. This one kind of loses my interest these days. 83. Wilson Pickett, “Mustang Sally” - This song has that Steve McQueen coolness to it you have to like. I had a friend sell my on it. Thumbs up. 82. King Crimson, “21st Century Schizoid Man” - ? Another I was unfamiliar with. It's starts off interesting but at 9 minutes, it's too long and it never goes anywhere. 81. Edwin Starr, “War” - Perhaps more influential in ending America's involvement in the Viet Nam conflict than anything John Lennon did, you have to give this song credit. Too controversial for Motown to release the Temptation's version.
