Many times in the 60's and 70's, absolutely no credit was given to The Wrecking Crew players even though they played on the recordings. This was the case for many of the groups they played for. Nowadays it is sometimes difficult to know if they played on a particular track or album unless the band they played for or the recording engineers, or the Wrecking Crew members that participated are still alive to say so. The album covers indicate nothing. Brian Wilson would know for sure and would not hesitate to give the WC credit if they played on these particular tracks.

They get credit on Wiki on some Beach Boy albums but not all. Isn't it possible they are getting credit where credit is due, in regards to the Beach Boys? On wiki pages that is.

Do fans rush to Wiki when they listen to the albums now? It is sad that the WC were never credited on the albums or even now on reissues I assume. Until the WC DVD came out recently, the fans (inluding myself) had no clue how many recordings they played on over the decades.

With them you only get title, artist and album. Oh yeah, and a picture of the album cover.

My mistake. It won't happen again.

Beatle related or otherwise. My mistake. It won't happen again. Oh come on. I wasn't trying to get smart with you. I'm just saying with people buying fewer and fewer hard discs, you do need to go to wiki or some other internet source to find out about different recordings that you might be listening to. You have said that you've jumped into that trend pretty heavily.
