Thanks. That's good to know that there was no real falling out with Paul and Denny. I always thought Denny made a move on Linda. I guess not.

Nice to hear from Denny and that whatever went on with Wings folding was not due to any falling out with Paul. Denny says near the end he's planning a book with a little help from his friend Paul. Then I noticed the interview was dated back to 2010.
Did I miss something? Has Denny put this book out there? Has he abandoned it? Or is he just a slow writer?

I smell a gag order. Paul has been touring since 1989 and not one appearance on stage by Denny.

I think there was some bad blood back in 1980/1981/1982. Denny rush-released the album Japanese Tears in December of 1980 but I think what really ticked Paul off was the Denny Laine 1984 Sun interview called The Real McCartney with headlines such as Paul using infant James to smuggle pot into countries! The Sounes book claimed Paul never forgave Denny for that interview. Linda slammed Wings and thus Denny Laine in the RS interview at the end of 1984. I seem to recall Paul and Denny met backstage at a Paul concert maybe in 2013 but as Mike has said, there have been no reunions on stage. Denny and the other Wings made their best money during touring and they were said to be upset that the 1980 Wings World Tour ended before it started in Japan. That cost Denny and the other guys a lot of money. In the Sun interview, Denny said they were not paid well by Paul in general. I wish they would reunite because despite Linda's Playboy Interview rants, history has shown that Denny was a good musical partner for Paul. He was no John Lennon for sure but who could replace John to Paul(or Paul to John)!
