except she wasn't really singing... An LA Lakers cheerleader who tries to pass herself off as a pop singer. Shit will also often float to the top as well as cream.

She was the LA Lakers cheerleader. Mariah is the one who has two number 1 singles fewer than the Beatles. She still has a viable career on pop radio and may pass the Beatles yet. She has a whole range of octaves, all her own. Most current artist have a dance routine too and are too out of breath to sing well. I think it is just standard practice to lip-sync now. At least Ashley Simpson did a little hoe-down for us when "her band" started "playing the wrong song" a few years back on Saturday Night Live.

That I just it with Mariah-she CAN sing-so why the lip syncing? I watched Fergie ...I'm pretty sure she was singing live.

I think Mariah was just "flanging" the track (to use the Beatle's term for it), doubling the vocals for a bigger sound. She was to sing over the top of the recording.
The cartoon at the top of this post says it all. So, you can't hear yourself. Go on with it.

I thought all big breasted pop singers were former cheerleaders. "Mariah has two number 1 singles fewer than The Beatles." Yes, she is definitely right up there with The Beatles. As I also said; shit often rises to the top as well as cream. That statement was not incorrect.....
