Here are a few youtube clips that show a bit of Beatle history.
The first one is a tour up Mathew that starts at the Infamous NEMS Stores, the building has since been demolished.
The next youtube clip is from someone touring around Liverpool filming well known Beatle places, some i'd never seen before.
Here is a guy narrating a walk the full length of Penny Lane
I hope someone enjoys these clips, i did.

Seeing as no one else has replied. Thanks for that Fabfour.
I recall a time when I got incredibly drunk on a pub crawl down Mathew Street during a Beatles weekend in the 90s. It was bloody brilliant. Beatles music blaring out from every bar and live Irish music in 'Flanagan's Apple'. I think I've been in every one of those bars in that first video. It was starting to get commercialized back in the 90s but still a load of fun and not too expensive. Now it can be very costly to do a Mathew Street pub & bar crawl. Especially on Beatles Weekend. But I think I'd like to do it again sometime.

I can't remember if that building was still there or if it had been pulled down. I quite liked the Cavern Club, even allowing for the fact it's a rebuild and not in the exact same spot as the one The Beatles played in.

I went there in 1979 - so long ago! If I get my slides digitalized, I could add some pictures.
