I am compiling a track list of Beatles’ psychedelic songs. This is what I have:
Rain I’m Only Sleeping She Said She Said Tomorrow Never Knows Strawberry Fields Forever
Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds Fixing A Hole Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite Within You Without You A Day In The Life
I Am The Walrus Baby You’re A Rich Man Magical Mystery Tour Fool On The Hill Blue Jay Way
Glass Onion Only A Northern Song It’s All Too Much Across The Universe
Do you disagree with my categorisation of any of these?
I am not necessarily looking to include every single psychedelic song the Beatles ever did, but I would like to add a few more. Do you think that any of the following could be considered psychedelic?
Helter Skelter Old Brown Shoe I Want You (She’s So Heavy)

I removed the ones I didn't think were psychedelic. For me, it was about sound. I'm sure some of the ones you put had psychedelic lyrics or little parts of a song that were "whirly," but I chose the ones I'd want to hear if I was high.

OK, thanks sayne. I was looking to arrive at 24 tracks for the equivalent of a full 2LP set, but maybe I'll edit it down to 1 LP. Not sure.

And then round it out with some tracks from Wonderwall.

And then round it out with some tracks from Wonderwall. Would it be cheating if you added "When We Was Fab" or "Riding Into Jaipur"? Here's a song that might be super cheating: Insiders in the know will know why this is included.

Or how about this, George Martin produced from 1960. Very trippy.

Or several great Paul tracks from Electric Arguments, I think those are psychedelic in a very cool way! Is The Beatles' "The Word" psychedelic? The musical backing is rather conventional for late 1965 but the lyrics are going in a new direction.
