Short but sweet. Probably the last time the two were interviewed together. Comments about Beatles songs, Elton John and David Bowie and how difficult it was to 'get all 4 Beatles' together.

Thanks for posting. Never heard it before. What is the story behind this interview? Were they just hanging out in NY or LA together and decided to give an interview? Or is it pre-NY when John was still at Tittenhurst in the UK?

The photo is misleading. It's in New York after George's Madison Square Garden show in 1974.

It's obviously used merely as an illustration for the audio as are all the other photos in the video. lowbassomarkc is actually correct. This is from just after the Madison Square Garden Show with George and John and was broadcast 21st December 1974 on Radio KHJ 930 AM.

From the Hoffman board: 12/15/74 - May Pang and John Lennon attend the Nassau Coliseum Show 12/16-17/74 - Harrison plays Philadelphia 12/19/74 - Harrison, McCartney, Starr's lawyer, and Neil Aspinall gather at the Plaza Hotel waiting for Lennon to come sign the papers dissolving the Beatles; he doesn't come. George blows a fuse and later plays Madison Square Garden with the McCartneys in attendance. 12/20/74 - Julian Lennon sees Harrison's matinee show at MSG and comes home with a peace offering from George. Lennon and Pang attend the tour end party that night at the Hippopotamus Club 12/21/74 - The McCartney family sees Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band on the Road at the Beacon Theatre 12/29/74 - John is the last Beatle to sign the band's dissolution papers while down at Disney World

According to Keith Badman - The Beatles After the Break Up
Even though John & George appear to be talking to each other in that interview.
