The only one I even paused to think about was the last one. Read more: abbeyrd.proboards.com/thread/5985/paul-mcartcney-hits-tourney-round#ixzz5M6mXAoFZ

#16 Put It There
#7 This One
#6 Hope Of Deliverance
#29 Ever Present Past
I'm like you, Coach, the last pair was the only one that gave me pause, and I went the other way.
Question about the seeding: Is this set to go to the end, with the winners of the top two against each other as well the winners of the bottom two? I ask because your 21/29 match should be in the top half of the bracket. In a 32 team field, #29 would face #4 in the first round, and then the winner of the 13/20 match, before seeing what would normally be the 4 or 5 seed and then the 1 seed (or, as in this case, the one that beat #1).
I ask because I noticed the top two pairs feature FITD songs, but they shouldn't be on a collision course until the final, as a #7 and a #16 can't square off until the top half winner meets the bottom half survivor. Now, if "Young Boy" wins, that problem will be eliminated, but the pairings still won't be according to a normal bracket.
Now, you may not WANT to run a normal bracket--that's your call--I just noticed today that it was odd that a #16 was looking at facing a #7 next IF that is the intended pairing next time.
EDIT: I went back and looked at the first round, and see that you had it set where the #1 seed would have seen the #2 seeed in the second round if both had survived. So you didn't start the tournament set up as the NCAA bracket.

So you didn't start the tournament set up as the NCAA bracket. Unless I goofed up somewhere along the line, I have been running this like a traditional tournament. The winner of the pairing at the top (Put It There vs. Young Boy) will take on the winner from the bottom pairing (Ever Present Past vs. Tug Of War) and the other semi-final will be the winner of Old Siam Sir vs. This One taking on the winner of Dance Tonight vs.Hope Of Deliverance. Thus the two FLOWERS IN THE DIRT songs could meet in the final!

I went back and looked at your first round, and thought that was what was going on.
When I did it, I'd put it where 1/32 was directly above 16/17, and so on down the line where the last pairing was 2/31 and 15/18. What you have done works out the same way.
And even if it didn't, no big deal--a winner has to prevail each round, and only one will.

Round 3 is done: Easy win for Hope Of Deliverance Comfortable wins for Put It There and Tug Of War This One in a close win over Old Siam Sir.
Only surprise to me was the last one was close. I thought This One was an easy pick over Old Siam Sir
On to the semi-finals!
