#3 Wanderlust vs. #62 Rockstar Theme WANDERLUST over I think Rockestra. A close call. I like both.
#7 Every Night vs. #58 Magic EVERY NIGHT is great.
#11 Let Me Roll It vs. #54 Big Barn Bed Neither are favorites of mine.I 'm liking BIG BARN BED a little more these days.
#15 Mumbo vs. #50 So Glad To See You Here I hate this choice. I ranked So Glad higher in my nominations. I have to go with MUMBO now.
#19 Flaming Pie vs. #46 Early Days FLAMING PIE is much better in my opinion.
#23 Junk vs. #42 Your Way I like JUNK better.
#27 Mrs. Vanderbilt vs. #38 Cafe On The Left Bank MRS VANDERBILT is an easy win for me.
#31 Beware My Love vs. #34 Don't Let It Bring You Down BEWARE MY LOVE, the rocker.

Rockstar Theme Every Night Big Barn Bed Mumbo Flaming Pie vs. #46 Early Days I don't like Early Days at all so it goes to Pie which I find a bit forced. Junk #27 Mrs. Vanderbilt vs. #38 Cafe On The Left Bank This is so hard. By a whisker I'll give it to the Cafe. Don't Let It Bring You Down - wonderful and moody

#3 Wanderlust: Easy, this is one of Paul's Solo best.
#58 Magic: A very poignant song; a rare non-Postulate song pick by me!
#54 Big Barn Bed: Close but this is great Postulate Paul!
#15 Mumbo: Any doubt on how I would vote?! This is Paul's greatest Solo song!
#19 Flaming Pie: This is fun the other is preachy.
#42 Your Way: This is a honorary Postulate song!
#38 Cafe On The Left Bank: Maybe the best song off LT.
#31 Beware My Love: Neither is great.

#3 Wanderlust vs. #62 Rockestra Theme (Wanderlust. I don’t mind the inconsequential Rockestra Theme, but Wanderlust is one of the best things he did in his post-Beatles career.)
#7 Every Night vs. #58 Magic (Magic. A personal favourite from Driving Rain, even if he sings it a bit flat.)
#11 Let Me Roll It vs. #54 Big Barn Bed (Let Me Roll It. It was close though.)
#15 Mumbo vs. #50 So Glad To See You Here (Mumbo.)
#19 Flaming Pie vs. #46 Early Days (Flaming Pie. Difficult, but I often tend to favour the rock numbers.)
#23 Junk vs. #42 Your Way (Junk. The second best song on McCartney, IMO.)
#27 Mrs. Vandebilt vs. Café On The Left Bank (Mrs. Vandebilt. This one was close too.)
#31 Beware My Love vs. #34 Don’t Let It Bring You Down (Don’t Let It Bring You Down. I don’t like the mannered intro to the studio version of Beware My Love. Don’t Let It Bring You Down is slight, but charming.)

MY PICKS: #3 Wanderlust vs. #62 Rockstar Theme: WANDERLUST is one of Paul's very best! #7 Every Night vs. #58 Magic: EVERY NIGHT is excellent and an easy winner. #11 Let Me Roll It vs. #54 Big Barn Bed: I don't rate LET ME ROLL IT as high as some do, but I really don't care for Big Barn Bed at all. #15 Mumbo vs. #50 So Glad To See You Here: Tough call, Mumbo is fun, but SO GLAD TO SEE YOU HERE is fun too, but with more substance. #19 Flaming Pie vs. #46 Early Days: EARLY DAYS much more touching memory of early years. #23 Junk vs. #42 Your Way: Another tough call. Like them both. JUNK nice acoustic song. #27 Mrs. Vanderbilt vs. #38 Cafe On The Left Bank: MRS. VANDERBILT is a personal favorite. #31 Beware My Love vs. #34 Don't Let It Bring You Down: I'll go with the evocative DON'T LET IT BRING YOU DOWN over the rocker. #19 Flaming Pie: This is fun the other is preachy. Only the one verse of Early Days is preachy. The rest of the song is incredibly touching. I have yet to not get teary when I hear the "May sweet memories of friends from the past..." part of the song.

#3 Wanderlust vs. #62 Rockstar Theme Easy
#7 Every Night vs. #58 Magic Close--two Linda songs from the opposite end of the relationship. I'll make sure "Magic" isn't shut out.
#11 Let Me Roll It vs. #54 Big Barn Bed "Big Barn Bed" had some potential, but it was unrealized. Not the case with "Let Me Roll It."
#15 Mumbo vs. #50 So Glad To See You Here I adore "So Glad," my favorite song on a great LP.
#19 Flaming Pie vs. #46 Early Days Another pair with a thematic link, the beginning of the Beatles. I'll take "Early Days" in the closest call here.
#23 Junk vs. #42 Your Way Hmmm, two from MCCARTNEY against two from DRIVING RAIN. I like MCCARTNEY better overall, but these two songs from DR are better.
#27 Mrs. Vanderbilt vs. #38 Cafe On The Left Bank Easy win
#31 Beware My Love vs. #34 Don't Let It Bring You Down Another close one, I like "Don't Let It Bring You Down" a lot, but "Beware My Love" is a tour de force.
