... when writing a Beatles book? I recently came across a book by Larry Kane called When They Were Boys. Thought it might be worth a read. However, in the very first chapter I came across this: “When John finally took me to meet Mimi,” Yoko remembers, “Uncle George was in a corner like no one could see him ..." I wonder if that's because he had died in 1955???

I bet Uncle George was surprised she could see him!

Wow! That is a blatant mistake unless, as Debjorgo alludes to, Yoko was suggesting that she, "Sees Dead people!"
I got burned for writing a Beatles Book where the facts were deemed inaccurate or indeed made up(as found by a jury of my peers).
My 2001 book, "Me, Pattie and Heather" was a brief bestseller until I was successfully sued by Pattie Boyd Harrison Clapton and Heather Mills for defamation of character by my suggestion that the three of us lived together as Husband, Wife and Wife and the three of us made love everyday, three times! Hey, in my mind that's exactly how it went down!
The civil damages awarded to the two Ladies was bad enough and worse I had to serve the full six months of jailtime for my previously suspended sentence in the protective order Pattie got against me.

I think Patti must be slightly intolerant. I mean, just because George slept around, and around, and around, and around ...
... she went off with Derek Steptoe
