Don't know if this has been stated here or in other Beatle forums, but Dhani Harrison is in the new Star Wars movie, The Rise of Skywalker. He plays a stormtrooper. So does Nigel Goodrich, by the way.

I have not heard that! At least the young Harrison is not being typecast! The Harrisons are known for their Eastern religious beliefs, hardly the musings of Empire Stormtroopers!
It would have been too easy to cast Dhani as some earnest Yoda groupie!

Didn't Dhani join the ROTC or some sort of military service when he was young? He said it was a 'rebel against the parents' kind of thing.

I doubt if anyone will be able to identify him since he's inside a storm tropper costume. He plays FN-0878. By the way, for people who don't know, the character "Finn" got his name because he was storm trooper FN-2187.

LOL, I did not know that! Gosh, what good is a cameo appearance if we can't recognize the person even if just for a second!
I will wait for Blu-Ray release and then spend time checking out every Storm Trooper. Now if one walks across the scene chanting, "Krishna, Krishna, Krishna," then we will know which one he was!
