If the Beatles never broke up, what do you think would’ve made it on their albums? Like I stated in one of my first posts, what do you think they would’ve sounded like too? My goal is to be as realistic as possible so here’s the rules I’ve made up.
1. No direct references to religion, negative or positive (My Sweet Lord, God, etc.) 2. The song can’t be a direct attack against another member of the band or be about the Beatles breaking up. I allow some lee way though (How Do You Sleep?, Early 1970 etc.) 3. Wives can be inspiration but they can’t be name dropped explicitly (Oh Yoko!, The Lovely Linda)
I’d love to see what you guys come up with. Thank you

Well that means "Imagine" is out and that is a killer. LOL, "the Lovely Linda" was not going to be on my fantasy album anyway!
I'll have to stew on it!

I forgot about Imagine’s religion line. Well... I might have to rethink this then. I guess you could make the argument that it’s not for or against it.

I get your religion exemption as it has always been said that John and Paul might not have been interested in working on George's "My Sweet Lord," a quite overt song on God. Although they would have pointed out the "He's So Fine" connection which would have saved George years of heartache and embarrassment with just a little tweaking on that song.
