I am hoping all episodes of Oobu Joobu are included on those 5 CDs! The theme song is among the best things Macca has ever done.

Paul released a deluxe Egypt Station in a fake, plastic suitcase.
Maybe Deluxe Flaming Pie could come in a large pie crust, fake or real! That would be tasteful.

That's a lot of coin to re-purchase an album i bought when it was first released. Enjoy it if you buy it.

Wow....230 pounds = 290 USD = 417 AUD UK only...?417 dollars, start saving Rocko...? Say Rocko, I didn't think Flaming Pie Rocked enough for your taste! I still wish Paul would have given the PMAC Deluxe treatment to London Town and Back To The Egg first as they are much older and in need of sonic upgrade.

My PMAC Flaming Pie Box came Friday, July 31, 2020, which was release date. I am amazed as amazon.com has been late on the last few musical orders I have made because of COVID-19. I did wear my Haz-Mat suit to open the box but could go to facemask once I got down to FP! I can hear virtually no difference in the 2020 remastering from the original 1997 mix so that is a non-issue to me. Some of the bonus material is cool and here are two such neat things like "The World Tonight(Rough Mix)" which has more heart and soul than the released version: Here was the best surprise to me although Paul apparently redid this song "Whole Life" in 2003 with Paul and Dave Stewart and released on an obscure charity album in 2005 but here is the 1997 version with just Paul:

Thanks JSD, that was a good read. They also had reviews on other Macca albums there to read.

Meanwhile, my PMAC FP Box remains unopened as I could instantly auto-rip the music from amazom.com to put it all on my iPod Touch and I am not so interested in the trinkets that come in these things, mostly the music.
Flaming Pie PMAC was a flop as far as I can tell as to enthusiasm with the fans. Hell, it is not that old. London Town and Back To The Egg need the PMAC Deluxe treatment!
Bad call Paul! Fans were excited when Wings Wild Life and Red Rose Speedway got the deluxe treatment but not this album.

Paul has already did the deluxe treatments for all the new albums (especially Egypt Station). The idea that it's because these older albums have reached such a high nostalgic fondness with fans, they deserve a deluxe treatment, seems to have escaped Paul.

Make no mistake Paul, your fans love Flaming Pie as it is a great album but to us it still seems rather new even at 23 years because we are use to celebrating and enjoying albums now more than 50 years old! Oh man Debjorgo, there would be a riot if Egyptian Station next gets the Deluxe PMAC treatment because that album is still just a baby!

LOL, oh it was the deluxe treatment alright but not of the PMAC Series kind so I don't count it like that. I wonder if people are getting a lot of use out of that plastic suitcase? It does hold all of that junk!

Hey gang, the Flaming Pie Deluxe Box is now only $176.75 on amazon.com!
That is a fair price unlike the $265.00(pre-tax) I originally paid for it before I got a $46.00 amazon guaranteed price refund but still that was $219 fucking dollars!
At that price one could tolerate the Oobu Joobu Theme song!
