This is kind of like asking a mom to name her favorite kid, but as of today I would say The White Album. This will change tomorrow of course, and the day after, and the day after, etc.

At the current time I'd say 'The White Album' because it's so varied and there's so much information here. But my favorite changes from day to day. Mostly though my favorites run from 'Rubber Soul' to 'Abbey Road' but I love the older stuff too. It's a tough question for me to answer.

The first LP I ever bought was the Capitol version of Rubber Soul, so that always sits near the head of the class.
But I'd have to say -- and not in order -- Revolver, A Hard Day's Night, Abbey Road, Please Please Me are always high on my list.

The first LP I ever bought was the Capitol version of Rubber Soul, so that always sits near the head of the class. To me "I've Just Seen A Face" and "It's Only Love" are essential tracks to RUBBER SOUL and I can't get used to the album without them. On the other hand, "Nowhere Man" and "If I Needed Someone" seem essential to the album as well. I also love "Drive My Car" though I think it fits better on YESTERDAY AND TODAY. ("What Goes On" is a good deletion from the US version). On CD I have made my own Rubber Soul which contains all the songs on both the US and UK album with "If You Got Trouble" replacing "What Goes On" (which I did tack on at the end so it can be easily skipped, yet it there for those who like it) plus as bonus tracks "Day Tripper", "We Can Work It Out", "!2 Bar Original" from Anthology 2, and the alternate versions of "I'm Looking Through You" and "Norwegian Wood" from Anthology 2. Now there's a great CD!

My ultimate favorite is still the first album my sister brought home: MEET THE BEALTES. It brings back wonderful memories of being a kid and just doesn't compare with the UK counterpart, WITH THE BEATLES, in my book! Regards, Beatle Bob
