Paul McCartney will be signing copies of his great Fireman album, "Electric Arguments," Dec. 21 at the HMV store, 150 Oxford St., London, says NME.com www.nme.com/news/paul-mccartney/41670. The session begins at 10 a.m. local time. To be eligible to have your copy of the album signed, you'll have to have a special wristband, which the store will start distributing at 10 a.m. Dec. 18. NME says that only copies of "Electric Arguments" will be signed.

With my luck, I spend all of my dough going to London on the quick, somehow snag a wristband and wait in line for hours only for Sir Paul to sign my album, "the fireman."

It's great to see Macca still caring about the Fans and his Music enough to promote it in such a cool way. We all know that a Macca autograph goes for a bit of coin so to get one for free and actually meet Macca is nice. Sad oit is only being done in the UK..Oh Well...

The only reason I go to London these days is to see friends - it loses me a day's work and costs me an arm and a leg.

Well I can see your point Joe but I'm sure Macca would rather get on with his regular everyday life without always being bothered to give Autographs. If he does these meet & greets then all the fans that go know that he is willing and approachable. Can you imagine being on an intimate date or a business meeting at a restuarant and being approached by a bunch of fans..Just not the right moment.
