Apparently, the vocals have been switched, in effect making this a new version-pretty unusual for a remixed LP. Maybe as a bonus track... I listened to this a few times now. Can't believe Paul approves of this version. He is practically non-existant on the song aurally. His voice doesn't even sound like him when he does sing. Kids today will think this is a MJ song. Paul who? I too thought that Michael's vocals dominate the recording. Most kids today will mistakingly think this is a Micheal Jackson song. It would have been nice too if Paul made a cameo appearance in the new video. Maybe he couldn't be there when they were filming the video.

Well apparently Wanderlust is about drugs. That's a little bit of a letdown.

I thought the boat was called Wanderlust.

I had TOW in my hand today at Best Buy. Looked at the tracks, looked at the price, and decided I'd listen to it on Spotify first.

I thought the boat was called Wanderlust. It was and the Captain of the Wanderlust got all uptight, eventually kicking Paul and Linda off, because they were smoking weed on his boat. How dare that Captain be mad! The Captain was out to make a bust, the jailer man and sailor Sam were searching everyone and the county judge held a grudge!

What better time to find a brand new boat.

I'm in Adelaide, but going by their website it would be nationally. When you get yours, i'll go and get mine, from JB as well. This is getting ridiculous. JB are now saying TOW won't be available until 23 October. At this rate I will have bought the forthcoming Beatles videos set before the McCartney remasters. Record companies only have themselves to blame for falling physical sales. I am seriously thinking of giving up buying more CDs and looking for high resolution downloads instead.

You know music is in sorry shape when you can go to a magazine rack and there are more magazines about tattoos than there are ones about music.

Lord knows you can see all the tattoos you want on the internet too.

I must admit I've just about stopped buying magazines too, whether they be music or something else. The last one I bought was the Uncut Ultimate Paul McCartney Music Guide from last year. I used to buy Mojo, Rolling Stone, Q, Record Collector etc., not every issue, but now and then on a regular basis.
The thing is that so much of what they contained is available a few clicks away on the net.

I used to buy all the Guitar magazines that were out a while back. There was Guitar for the Practicing Musician, Guitar World, Guitar Player, Guitar Acoustic, Guitar Edge and assorted extra editions. I buy the ones with articles on artists or tabs of songs that I liked. The Beatles were always heavily featured. Now it's down to just Guitar World and I have to really look around to find it.
There's a magazine called Ideas and Discoveries that I pick up, here and there. I will get a National Geographic once in a while. Life Magazine has special editions I get from time to time; i.e. Secrets of the Ancient World. Popular Science has had two editions I have picked up, 100 Mysteries Explained and 100 Inventions That Changed the World.
Becket Entertainment had Legends of Music - The 50 Greatest Artists with the Beatles on the cover from Sgt Pepper, surrounded by Elvis, Bruce, Bob, Paul Simon, ...etc.
Of course there are always Beatle special edition magazines. We recently had John Lennon - Remembering John 35 Year Later, The Beatles - The Untold Story from TV Guide, and Music Icons - The Story Behind Every Album and Song.
Then Life Magazine has a John Lennon tribute magazine it puts out from time to time. They change the name of it and give it a new date and put it out like a new magazine. They don't even bother changing the cover photo. I bought it twice before I figured it out.
GAMES magazine has Paint By Numbers puzzles that I like to work. Barns and Noble is the only place I can find GAMES. It's a pretty good drive so I don't go out of my way to go get GAMES. If I go for a MOJO or UNCUT, I'll pick up a GAMES magazine.

I will get a National Geographic once in a while. We're getting further and further away from TOW/POP, but since you brought it up, I buy National Geographic once in a while too. This will probably sound strange, but I buy them for the folded inserted maps that they sometimes feature. I collect the map and throw away the magazine itself. Been doing it for years.

Yes, I fear the off topic police will be here any minute. It's much better to let a thread die or let a site go quiet for days than to drift away for the topic of a thread. And you know those maps are outdated before they even hit the newsstand. Oh yeah, Keep Under Cover Demo came up on my "New Music" program rotation earlier today. I think I like it better than the produced version.

Er, ah, you do know you can find pictures of tribal naked breasts on the internet, don't you? I mean, just like Playboy, I always bought it for the articles.

I will get a National Geographic once in a while. I used to get National Geographic many years ago. But my sole reason for getting it can now be achieved by googling "Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction."

The album cover icons did not populate on the Tug of War / Pipes of Peace discs. I made my own cover for the Tug of War second disc.

I have managed to get them from an independent outlet, so I'm good. I also notice that they have put back the date of availability of the new Beatles 1+ sets until 13.11.2015. They are a dead loss.

There's a new download at: www.paulmccartney.com/downloadsIt's the instrumental Say Say Say. It's nice to hear the music going on behind the vocals. It's a very good song.

I still haven't found the remastered POP.
It must be selling like hot cakes.
TOW was easy to find. I knew it wasn't as good. Too much filler.

There's pages of this topic leading up to the release but nothing really beyond. Perhaps someone who might have the new TOW and POP can you tell me what it's like?
