Any one notice the 4 disc deluxe set is selling for $33.99 on amazon.com? That's less than $8.50 a disc, and you get the book. A book, and 4 CDs of songs I've already got. Great. Besides getting the songs gloriously remastered, you will get "My Valentine" and more significantly "Hope For The Future." the first time that new Macca classic stands side-by-side with other pure McCartney songs! |

Question: Why is so Paul so perpetually clean-shaven in his 'golden' years, and, really, since about 1977? Dude could obviously grow a killer, dark beard before, so I'd think he could have an old-man beard now and it would be white and look cool. Great question and I can only think the answer is Paul doesn't want a white old man beard! Here is his beard about as long as I have ever seen it and it is cool!  I love a bearded Paul because that, in hindsight, represented the Postulate Era Paul! I bet Nancy wouldn't let him have a beard even if he wanted one. She strikes me as the full Brazilian type as to body hair both for her and her man!  |

I know a Monkees fanatic who has never washed his Monkees PJs since 1967 when he got them for his birthday! He didn't want them to fade! Forget the fact they are disgusting, smell and have various stains but he is a fanatic! |

Some alternative "Pure McCartney" as the countdown continues. Tim Christensen, Mike Viola, Tracy Bonham and The Damn Crystals sing the entire Ram album and more. They even pull off "Uncle Albert" live. So why can't Paul? Maybe Paul should think about using them on his "Pure McCartney Tour?". He could just play bass  . |
